Ladies Prize-giving May 2019

Congratulations to all of those taking home prizes at the ladies Prize-giving in May 2019.  The prize-giving included April Medal Winner Bridie Brady, May Medal Winner, Teresa Conway and Lady Vice Captain’s Winner, Brigid Dunne.

Deirdre has hole in one in interclub golf!

The ladies intermediate team were unlucky to lose out to Castlewarden in their recent Interclub matches in a hard fought encounter in Kilcock Golf Course.  But it was a bitter sweet result as Deirdre Malone had a fantastic hole in one in her match – following on from her great result in the mixed matchplay on the previous day.

Next up for the ladies is the Boyne Cup vs. Slade Valley this Tuesday.  All support welcome

Sponsorship Opportunities

Beech Park GC has always enjoyed the support of a small but steadfast group of sponsors, whose generosity over the years has contributed to the success of innumerable competitions, events and initiatives. For this most practical of assistance, BPGC will always be grateful. This year, the Officers and Committee are committed to growing our pool of sponsors, and to highlighting the numerous opportunities and benefits of sponsorship for all concerned.

For major competitions and events such as Open Week (15th-23rd June ), we encourage members who are in a position to make or influence corporate decisions around the allocation of marketing/sponsorship budgets to explore with us how we can provide an enjoyable sporting/hospitality experience for your customers, staff or guests in Beech Park.

Although corporate/business based sponsorship will continue to play a critical part in our plans, we are anxious to facilitate and encourage members, individually or as part of a group, to avail of sponsorship opportunities also. The weekly programme of Tuesday (Ladies), Wednesday (Open Invitational) and Thursday (Open Singles-Ladies and Gents) all provide opportunities for involvement in sponsorship of prizes.

Sponsorship can also prove vital in enabling the club to undertake improvement and enhancement works on the course and around the clubhouse environs. Sponsorship of prizes etc. for the Course Development Day (25th May) event is currently being sought separately, and the proceeds of the day will be used for various improvement measures across the course. We need to upgrade our Defibrillator and provide an additional unit in the vicinity of the work sheds at the top of the course.

If you think you can assist the club by way of sponsorship, contact Tom Kane ([email protected]) or any committee member who will be only too glad  to take you through the various options available

Onwards and upwards
